Nancy, What the Botox will do is help him to keep his eyes open, they just close on their own now and he can’t control it. We go to the neurologist every 3 to 6 months and at the last visit (June) I forgot to mention the eye issue, since then it has gotten worse so I called the office to mention it because it was really starting to be an issue, so the doctor spoke with me briefly on the phone telling me that they do these injections when this happens to patients, this happens to about 20% of the people effected with PSP. He did not go into too much detail but we have an appointment on August 3rd, so I will be asking all those questions then. I hope it does help with both the opening & closing. I appreciate your post online, the kind words and your prayers are appreciated. I love you guys and wish you weren’t so far away, and we are looking forward to seeing you before the end of the year.

I am happy that you girls are checking in it is an easy to stay in touch with what's going with Bernie. Should I ever need anything I know I can count on you guys for support. So far so good although as I said he is definitely progressing as what seems like a quicker pace. When you live with it everyday sometimes its hard to see, but not anymore. I will keep posting now and again so keep checking in. Love kelly
